この話に少し関わりがあることなのですが・・・

社会人の方は、ISO9001という品質運営管理の国際規格をご存知でしょうか。
その中に、「顧客満足」という項目があるのですが、本来は「顧客と交わした契約(顧客要求事項)を守ってさえいれば、それ以上の過剰な奉仕は不要」という意味です。しかし、日本では「要求事項を満たすのみでなく、それを超えてはじめてお客様が満足することになる」と拡大解釈がまかり通っています。

我が職場にもその空気は浸透しており、顧客との契約時にまともに要求事項を確認することがないため、顧客側の勝手な言い分にハイハイと従うばかりです。「お客様は神様」なので、対等な関係としての議論は夢のまた夢です。

西洋人の常識を基に作られた規格を日本人が日本独特の先入観で解釈したせいで、日本ではISO規格取得が極めて困難となり、大手コンサルタントは多額の審査料を巻き上げて会社に無理難題な日本流ISOを押し付け、それを既成事実化して懐を肥やしています。

本当に日本人は自縄自縛が大好きな国民です。この異常な御上意識から日本人が解放される日は来るのでしょうか・・・。
